International Fellowships Program (IFP), West Africa.
2011/12 Academic year
The International Fellowships Program (IFP) is a program supported by the Ford Foundation, and coordinated in West Africa by the AAU in collaboration with Pathfinder International in Nigeria and West African Research Center (WARC) in Senegal . IFP provides fellowships for advanced study to exceptional individuals who will use their education to further development in their own countries and greater social and economic justice worldwide. IFP fellowships will be awarded to applicants on the basis of their academic excellence, leadership skills/potential and commitment to their community and nation. It is expected that 57 Fellowships will be awarded in West Africa for the 2011/12 academic year
The application period for the 2011/12 Awards will be from November 1, 2009 to January 29, 2010. Late applications will NOT be accepted.
