Workshop on HIV/AIDS for East African Higher Education Institutions
 

The AAU in collaboration with Kenyatta University is organising a sub-regional training workshop on HIV/AIDS for East African Higher Education Institutions using the AAU HIV/AIDS Toolkit from 27th June - 1st July, 2006.

The theme of the workshop is 'Capacity Building for Higher Education Institutions in Responding to the HIV/AIDS Pandemic'.

The workshop, which is the first using the Toolkit is supposed to bring about 50 participants from various higher education institutions and countries in the East African sub-region. Similar sub-regional training workshops will be held later in Central Africa and West Africa for Francophone Institutions, and Southern Africa.
