COREVIP

The Conference of Rectors, Vice Chancellors and Presidents (COREVIP) is a biennual scientific conference that brings together chief executive officers of member institutions or their representatives and other leading academics and policy-makers for the purpose of examining themes of major concern to African higher education and development.

The theme for the last COREVIP has been

  • “Strengthening the Space of Higher Education in Africa” (2011: Stellenbosch, South Africa)

For COREVIP 2011, it is proposed toThe Conference will provide an excellent opportunity for leaders of African higher education institutions to exchange experiences and draw on the lessons from institutions on issues relating to the theme of the conference. There will also be an opportunity to hear from both regional and international organisations involved in higher education initiatives.
