The organizing committee invites all interested to submit abstracts for SMUC annual conference

which is to be held under the general theme:

"INVIGORATING THE WORK ON ACCESS, EQUITY AND QUALITY

OF THE HIGHER EDUCATION SECTOR IN ETHIOPIA"

The Conference specifically focuses on the following themes:

  • Quality culture in Ethiopian Higher Education Institutions;

  • The link between higher education and national development policies;

  • Addressing the issue of Mature Students in Ethiopian HEIs;

  • Public-private Partnership Higher Education Institutions;

  • University Governance and Management;

  • Closing the gender gap in academia;

  • Linkages between Higher Education and the labour market;

  • Accreditation and Quality Assurance systems;

  • Globalization of Higher Education;

  • Financing Private Higher Education;

  • Cross-cutting themes such as HIV/AIDS and environmental justice.
